AvisNocturna has released TerraRay 5.0, an improved version of its landscape rendering tool. The update builds in a new default renderer, said to be as much as two to five times faster than earlier technology. AvisNocturna comments that whereas a standard scene might previously have taken over 30 minutes to complete, the same content can now be finished at 1440x900 resolution within five minutes when using a Core i5 processor....
