QNAP Systems has announced that an updated version of its NAS management software for the Turbo NAS line of products will be available by mid-August. The v3.5 firmware provides several new security enhancements, including an antivirus feature that is capable of scanning a NAS manually or on a recurring schedule, and deleting or quarantining any infected files.
